I'm sure you uploaded the files - they just weren't in the directory. I see them right now, in your top level directory, not in a subdirectory.

Dave, just to clarify, this is how you uploaded the files:

sci2003-09-26.retrack.flac16 <-- this is the show folder that was processed.
sci2003-09-26d1t01.flac (not in the above directory)
sci2003-09-26d1t02.flac (not in the above directory)
sci2003-09-26d1t03.flac (not in the above directory)
etc...

The sci2003-09-26.retrack.flac16 folder was in your upload directory, but the FLAC files were not inside it. When you import a concert here, the Contribution engine looks for folders in your upload directory. Since the folder were there, that's what it processed - 2 empty folders.

I just re-created the 2 show folders in your upload directory. You will need to move all the FLAC/TXT files into those folders before you go through the import process again. Log in to etree05, take a look and email me if you still need some help.

I'm going to clear all the error reports referring to the bad import, I will delete the bad imports, and you can process them again.

P.S. Thanks for retracking those! When will we see some more 97/98/99's from you? :-)

The 9/26 show says md5 failed, but I just ran the flac test and they all checked out fine, and I pasted the fingerprint along with the show when I imported it. What else can I do for this show?
Peace,
Dave

I've attached a copy of the fingerprint.

Forum: etree Subject: Question for Jon

Jon, relating to this discussion, will the details pages complain about not finding the show even if there is an empty show directory on one of the servers?

In other words, if I just delete the details pages for Dave (which I already did), will he be able to use the same folder name? Is it possible that there is an empty folder on one of the servers with that name that I need to look for to avoid potential problems with his pending imports?

Thanks, unfortunately I just cleared 2 or 3 other error reports with similar situations before this ocurred to me, so I won't have any idea what folder name to look for if we need to hunt them down...
